Rajaâ Cherkaoui

Rajaa-CherkaouiMrs Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli is professor at Mohammed V University-Agdal (UM5A), Rabat, Morocco. She is responsible for the nuclear physics laboratory at the Faculty of Science at UM5A.

She is founding member and President of Moroccan Radiation Protection Association (AMR), which is an associated member of IRPA (International Radiation Protection Association). She is also a Vice-President of Moroccan Nuclear engineer Association (AIGAM). She is also a corresponding member of the Moroccan Academy of Science.

Currently, she is Vice President for Research; Cooperation And Partnership at UM5A. She represents her University at AFRA-NEST (AFRA-Network for Education of Nuclear Science and Technology). It is thanks to Professor Cherkaoui and other colleagues that Morocco officially participated in the ATLAS project at CERN.

Mrs. Rajaa Cherkaoui El Moursli has graduated from the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, where she got her doctorate in nuclear physics. Her first researches were led at the Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology in Grenoble, France.
